Mobile robots - designed specifically for cleanrooms - transport materials, consumables, and cell products between unit operations. Equipped with 6-axis robotic arms and interchangeable end effectors, they execute each step with repeatable precision.

• Because they are not fixed to tracks or pods, IMRs adapt to your facility layouts, which can therefore evolve as manufacturing requirements change.
• If one robot becomes unavailable, tasks are reassigned automatically to maintain process continuity and minimise batch risk.
• Fleet-level orchestration enables dynamic task assignment across multiple workflows simultaneously, supporting parallel manufacturing.

Instead of relying on high-grade background cleanrooms, Constellation® uses sterile tube welding to maintain a closed manufacturing pathway. This industry-standard closure method is recognised by major regulatory authorities, including the FDA, EMA and MHRA.

Sterile welds create sealed fluid connections between every unit operation, eliminating contamination risk at every transfer point. Each weld is automatically integrity tested before the process continues, with a digital QC record generated for complete traceability.

Crucially, sterile welding unlocks a more efficient model: controlled, scalable manufacturing in Grade C/D environments, and less reliance on high-grade cleanrooms.

Constellation® connects robots, workflows, and bioprocessing instruments through a single, ISA-88–aligned digital layer.

Data is captured automatically at every step, creating 21 CFR Part 11-compliant electronic batch records with full traceability, chain of identity, and chain of custody – no manual input needed. Data can also be integrated with an existing MES, enabling seamless incorporation into quality systems.
