Video Interview: Talking Cell Therapy Trends

How has the technology for manufacturing cell therapies changed over the years? What are the biggest milestones? What are the challenges of designing the right equipment and systems? What lies ahead for the field? We discuss these questions and more in this video conversation with Edd Stone from TTP.

Dr Edwin Stone is the Head of Cell and Gene at The Technology Partnership (TTP) Plc. He has over 15 years’ experience working with life sciences companies automating complex biological workflows. Currently, as Head of Cell and Gene, Edwin works with biotech companies on their product and technology development, helping solve the challenges of bringing cell and gene therapies to a wider patient population. His work has included several autologous cell therapy automation systems, sampling and analytics solutions as well as broader manufacturing strategy. He is the author of multiple patents, has a PhD from Cambridge University, and a Master of Engineering from Southampton University where he graduated first in his year.
